$1 Million Bail for $199 Robbery
J&B Internet Access Sweepstakes is an online company that holds lottery-like contests. The business was robbed at gunpoint by 21 year old Bill Roland Sanders, of Fuquay-Varina. Sanders is also known as Charles Marcus Jones.
Local police say that Sanders and three others, whose identities they do not yet have, planned the robbery. They planned to use a long-barreled rifle to steal $199 from the company. Sanders is in Wake County jail on a $1,000,000 bond. It is unlikely that he will be able to make bail. He is facing charges of both conspiracy and robbery.
Robbery charges in North Carolina are very serious, and without the help of a skilled Raleigh criminal defense attorney, the suspect could easily end up in prison for years. Furthermore, he may be required to pay large court fines and restitution to the internet company.
