Suspect Arrested at Children's Event

A man wanted for multiple crimes was arrested at a children's event last week in Carter County. Sheriffs from the county were tipped off that the man would be at the event since he had purchased a ticket for it. They waited patiently for the man outside the event and when it was over, they took him into custody. The 41-year-old suspect is wanted in North Carolina for larceny over $250,000.
This is not the first brush with the law that this suspect has encountered. Earlier this year he entered a best interest plea in a murder-for-hire plot. He is now being held as a fugitive from justice and is waiting to be extradited to North Carolina. The suspect is being held without bond for his theft charge of an airplane.
