Three young men now face the possibility of years behind bars for drug crimes. This came as a surprise to those that had followed their promising careers as football players.
Based on a tip, police in North Dakota were sent to the home of three former football players. With a search warrant in hand the officers were able to enter the home and search the premises. The officers discovered more than enough to take the players away in handcuffs.
The three men were charged with possession of a prescription medication, marijuana and anabolic steroids. One of the men was found to be in possession of marijuana paraphernalia as well. Two of these charges are Class C felonies that could send the men to jail for up to five years.
