Police Still Looking into Break-In
Officers with the Raleigh Police Department are still investigating the case of a break-in followed by assault against two men.
Police reports show that that suspect, 28-year-old Floyd Lamar Johnson, entered the apartment of Orlando Farrow without permission. While inside, he then started to assault Farrow and guest Kenneth Hamlin with a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol. The arrest warrant also states that Johnson brought his young son with him, placing the boy in serious danger.
Johnson has since been arrested and charged with first degree burglary, misdemeanor child abuse, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and assault by pointing a gun. This is not the first time that Johnson has been arrested, however, as he was convicted of a previous assault charge in 2002.
When you are arrested for assault or theft offenses, no matter what state you reside in, you could be facing serious penalties.
