Former Executive Fights DUI Charges and Gets $30 Fine
In Southwest Ohio, a former chief executive was placed under arrest for driving under the influence (DUI). He went to court to fight his charges with his lawyer at his side and instead of having to serve time in jail he received a $30 fine. According to news sources, the former executive was driving in Ohio last October when police saw him heading down a closed street. While he maintained his sobriety the entire time he was questioned by police, he was officially charged with driving under the influence. Later on, the arresting officer commented that he smelled alcohol emanating from the executive's vehicle.
Not too long after his arrest, the 59-year-old suspect resigned from his position at the media company where he worked. Several complaints were launched against him concerning raunchy behavior. However, none of the complaints have been substantiated.
